Road Trip to Edison Field (Angels Stadium)

The proximity to Disneyland shows on Angels stadium - the picturesque fountain in outfield, attendants in colorful period uniforms, fireworks before, after and during the game...all for visual entertainment. Plus owner Moreno put together an integrated business plan with lowering ticket prices and and on beer, campaigns to bring in additional fans, and oh, putting together a most competititive team on the field. The games are thus enjoyable to watch (although non-fans aren't enamored with the rally monkey). You sit in comfortable seats, the renovations to the ballpark are appreciated, the beer selection is more than reasonable and the park features an excellent selection of Mexican food. It's a quick cab ride over from the Disneyland neighborhood - and from the conference hotels.
