Spring Training

Planning your Spring Training travel to Arizona or Florida is planning a dream come true. Getting hotel reservations is critical: reserving many months in advance is highly worthwhile. You can always reduce dates of stay easily, simply by contacting the hotel within their cancellation timeframe (usually 24 hours, but sometimes 72 hours, or even one week), so think big at first.
First, select the general region of your spring training fling. The teams training in Arizona are quite local to each other, so choosing a hotel near your favoriate team makes for a solid home base. Then, either rent a car, or stay in one of the hotels that provides local area transportation.

Florida's spring training is more spread out, owing to a longer history of spring training. In this case, choose your favorite team (or the area you haven't been to yet) and then identify the hotel in the area that will serve as your home base.
